The Bugcrowd Operations group is looking for an ambitious and motivated Business Analyst to join our team. Reports directly to the Head of Operations

As a Business Analyst on the Operations team, you will have a bird’s eye view of the entire functional and delivery landscape, with the mandate to identify opportunities for efficiencies, and then develop solutions for those areas.

Operating independent of any direct team affiliation, it will be the responsibility of the Business Analyst to proactively pursue any and all avenues for improvement within the 5+ teams that make up Operations as an organization. The ideal Business Analyst has:

  • A keen eye for detail, and an intolerance for inefficiency
  • Developed soft skills that allow for effective communication across departments and teams (persuasion, empathy, EQ, willingness to speak up and be vocal)
  • Ability to document with rigor, all existing (and then ideal) flows
  • Ability to visualize, see the larger picture, and find uncommon solutions to common problems
  • Ability to execute plans, beyond developing them
  • Ability to learn complex concepts or softwares quickly, to enable a rapid understanding of how systems work
  • Background and proficiency in using a scripting language of some nature (Python, et al)

An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys helping people succeed with technology, isn’t afraid to suggest improvements in practices and products, and also has endless fortitude. They should love to learn, be able to context-switch quickly and effectively, easily and be able to communicate with empathy at all times - with a focus on helping improve the Operations org across the board.

  • 5+ years experience in a consulting or operational role relating to process engineering or management
  • Direct experience in a web-heavy, technical domain (SaaS and desktop applications) that will allow for the quick adoption and understanding of new and novel tools/technologies
  • Background and proficiency in using a scripting language of some nature (Python, et al) is a plus
  • Strong process management and project management skills complemented with knowledge of tools

  • At Bugcrowd, we understand that diversity in the workplace is vital to a company’s success and growth. We strive to make sure that people are included and have a sense of being part of making Bugcrowd not only a great product but a great place to work
  • We regularly hear from both customers and researchers that Bugcrowd feels like a family, and we strive to maintain that internally as well
  • Our team consists of a broad range of people: musicians, adventure sports junkies, nature lovers, parents, cereal enthusiasts, night owls, cyclists, artists—you get the point
  • We use an agile development methodology, but we’re not dogmatic about it. It’s meant to empower, not impose
  • Dog-friendly!
  • We are a globally distributed team; there are Bugcrowders around the world working together to make this thing great
  • We come from all over: there are 24 different flags currently hanging in the office representing our countries of origin

  • Competitive salary and stock options

  • Flexible vacation time
  • Exceptional medical, dental & vision coverage
  • Generous allowance to build the workstation that suits you
  • Company-sponsored off-sites and celebrations
  • Pre-tax commuter benefits
