The role Due to the company’s recent growth, an opportunity has arisen for a hungry, ambitious individual to join the team in a hybrid role, nurturing and solidifying existing and new client relationships across the DARe-me and DARe-3D service offerings. You will join a passionate, progressive team, where training and professional development is encouraged.

Your primary role and focus is securing new Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Consultancy work and assisting in the growing development of the new DARe-3D Drone service.

Main Activity

The main purpose of this role is to generate new business, identify new leads and increase enquiries into the business through approaching potential new clients. You will strive to maintain and form excellent new relationships and gain repeat business wherever possible.

Clients who you will engage will include (but are not limited to): ● Architects ● Main Contractors ● M&E Contractors ● Project Managers ● Quantity Surveyors ● Property Developers ● End-User Clients

Marketing

Although your primary focus is on business development and client engagement, this often includes elements of marketing. You will assist in producing sales and marketing information including but not limited to brochures, bids, presentations, and website/social media content.

You will contribute to the development of a company marketing strategy for use to advance both the business and your business development activity.

CRM / Sales Reporting

You will track your business development activity in DARe-me’s CRM programme and attend regular sales meetings with the Managing Director either in-person or via video call. You will be required to produce a sales report and present this to the Managing Director at the monthly sales meeting.

*Location and Salary

The location for the role is flexible, although Central Belt Scotland is essential as most of your daily meetings will be in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. DARe-me has access to a flexible office membership at sites across Scotland for remote working, and you will be afforded a company vehicle for travelling to client meetings. The basic salary for this role is the Scottish living wage of £18,000 per year, and there is uncapped and significant earning potential through bonuses based on a structured target system (which can be discussed at interview).

Requirements The ideal candidate will be an outgoing and organised individual, capable of managing their own time and workload in a busy, but supportive team.

There is a strong focus on client relationship building in this role, so candidates who are presentable, personable and confident on the phone and in person, with excellent written and oral English essential for the role..

Essential skills and experience required for this role:

● The ability to learn quickly and a can-do attitude ● A positive mindset and readiness to work hard ● A proven track record of achieving business goals & targets ● Excellent attention to detail ● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal ● Ability to manage own workload ● Full UK driving licence ● At least 3 years of experience in the business/commercial side of the construction industry ● Knowledge of LinkedIn as a relationship-building platform (additional training will be provided)

Desirable skills and experience required for this role:

● Experience in B2B sales ● Understanding of basic marketing processes ● Strong working knowledge of sales strategy and building and managing client relationships ● Experience managing CRM systems ● Knowledge or interest in drone technology
