In April 2019, Bevy acquired CMX which is the world’s largest network of community professionals. CMX offers world-class training, events and research for the community industry. The Team

The Bevy marketing team is a dynamic group of modern marketing professionals working together across the firm in brand, design, product marketing, digital, live experiences, content, corporate communications, and operations to drive global marketing for Bevy solutions. As a part of this team, you will be responsible for leading marketers focused on demand generation, campaign creation, and field marketing.

About the Role

The Business Development Manager is a marketing and sales professional specialized in implementing and developing commercial and strategic relationships with organisations in accordance with company’s overarching objective, strategic goals and strategies. Your key areas of focus will include working with agencies, consultants, and technologies to accelerate company growth and enhance the customer experience.


  • Generate well-qualified meetings that fuel pipeline growth for our Account Executives through partner referrals
  • Strong understanding of the virtual event industry and technologies comprised of it
  • Effectively communicate Bevy’s value proposition and story
  • Develop strategies and a repeatable process to identify top target prospects and contacts by leverage prospecting tools and outbound calling techniques
  • Generate interest and establish rapport with all levels of stakeholders, including senior executives (VPs, SVPs, EVPs)
  • Research new accounts and new stakeholders in existing accounts
  • Nurture prospects through email, direct mail, social media, and other outreach channels
  • Partner with marketing on driving attendance to events, trade shows, webinars, and conferences
  • Stay current on the Bevy platform, competitive landscape, and current trends in the marketplace
  • Manage all activities in Salesforce to ensure good reporting and communication
  • Achieve monthly quotas
