NerdWallet is strategically scaling its CRM initiatives and team and is seeking an Associate CRM Marketer to develop, implement, launch, test, and monitor results for customer relationship management programs that utilize dynamic content and event triggers to onboard, activate, and retain members. Specifically, this person will be responsible for driving daily as well as long term program results.

Where you can make an impact:

  • Develop and launch CRM marketing programs across email, push and direct mail programs
  • Build and refine audience/event-based communication triggers across the member user-journey
  • Implement audience segmentation strategies, partnering with team members
  • Work regularly with internal cross-functional and external solution partners including Product, Engineering, Program Management, and Creative
  • Drive campaign optimization via A/B and other testing methodology
  • Monitor and report results on program and campaign analysis

You have:

  • Knowledge of overall email processes and ESP platforms
  • Experience in launching audience-specific dynamic content lifecycle and event-triggered CRM programs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to drive cross-functional collaboration
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS for email design and manipulation
  • Ability to work under the pressure of multiple projects and deadlines by prioritizing workload and managing frequent changes

  • Knowledge of SQL

Your experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree 2+ years of experience in direct marketing
  • 2+ years of experience developing email campaigns with an email campaign management system (ex. Iterable, Marketo, Responsys, ExactTarget/SalesForce Marketing Cloud, etc.)
  • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a matrixed organization
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented
  • Highly motivated, proactive, problem solver
