Head of Marketing - B2B SaaS at Localize

Localize is looking for a creative and energetic Head of Marketing to join our growing, US-based remote team. Our company has product-market fit (500+ customers) and is now looking to scale our sales and marketing efforts. This opportunity is perfect for an entrepreneurial minded individual who has a proven track record of formulating and executing digital marketing strategies for B2B SaaS products.

As Head of Marketing, you’ll take ownership of developing the company’s marketing strategy, managing all activities within the marketing department, and overseeing marketing budgets. Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and manage marketing strategies that successfully drive top of funnel leads (MQLs)
  • Build data-driven marketing campaigns that generate leads and strengthen the Localize brand across different channels
  • Develop a clear definition of the company’s ICP to inform all marketing activities
  • Execute campaigns from start to finish, driving collaboration with stakeholders and leveraging the right internal processes
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns in achieving their stated objectives, including impact on lead generation, LTV and retention
  • Propose and manage marketing research projects to gain customer and competitor insights and improve marketing strategy and communications
  • Build and strengthen brand awareness and market positioning to appeal to our ICP
  • Write and proofread creative copy for our marketing site, landing pages, videos and other marketing materials
  • Oversee blog content and social media strategy, including content creation, posting, and customer engagement.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • At least 2 consecutive years of remote work experience (mandatory)
  • 5+ years experience in a B2B SaaS marketing role
  • Bachelor degree in marketing, business, or similar preferred
  • Experience with online marketing, including content marketing, advertising, SEO, and social media
  • Proven track record and experience building and leading complex marketing programs and reporting on the results
  • Expert knowledge of Google Adwords, Google Analytics, and other industry standard marketing platforms and analytics tooling
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Highly skilled creative content writer (writing great email copy and landing page content is second nature)
  • A portfolio that showcases your content writing style and expertise
  • Expert project management skills and highly organized
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Good design sense; experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (or similar) a plus
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills, including metrics-driven thinking
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt quickly to change.
  • Works collaboratively within a team as well as autonomously
